Once you have traffic coming to your site, the next step is to convert them into leads and customers.
Start with your marketing funnel and identify what a prospect, lead and customer is to your business.
At each stage of the funnel your leads are looking for different information. In the early stages it's more about how your product or service will help them. Mid-way down they're looking for information about your company, your credibility, expertise, proven results. And down the bottom, when they are ready to convert they're wanting to know what the process is and what to do.
Here are some of the common reasons traffic doesn't convert
- The landing page wasn't relevant to the link.
- The visitor didn't find the information they were looking for.
- The visitor didn't know what to do next, or was confused.
- The site was cluttered and had too much happening
- The site appeared unprofessional.
Here are some solutions to increase your lead conversions
